BodaData Energizes Langfang Artificial Intelligence Data Center

May 30, 2025, BodaData, a premier digital infrastructure service provider, announced the successful energization of the BodaData Langfang Artificial Intelligence Data Center, a major step in bringing the facility online and establishing a new computing hub for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The energization of the site’s 110kV substation marks the official transition of the Langfang AI Data Center from a construction-phase facility to an operational computing platform. This milestone reflects BodaData’s commitment to delivering high-performance, low-carbon, and highly reliable infrastructure for the next generation of AI workloads.

Powering Intelligent Growth with High-Efficiency Infrastructure

Located in Langfang’s Anci District, the BodaData Langfang Artificial Intelligence Data Center is a flagship provincial-level project designed to support up to 11,500 high-density AI computing racks across a 100,000-square-meter campus. Phase I will deliver up to 50,000P of computing power, serving as a core compute hub and strategic backup facility for Beijing and Tianjin.

The center has already secured its first major internet client and will deliver customized computing services upon launch.

110kV Substation: A New Benchmark in Power and Sustainability

The Langfang center is equipped with a 252MVA 110kV substation, built to meet growing power demands of AI computing. Leveraging dual 220kV independent upstream power sources and a direct power delivery model, the design shortens transmission paths and significantly reduces energy loss—ensuring stability, energy efficiency, and alignment with China’s dual-carbon goals.

This infrastructure lays the foundation for BodaData’s vision of integrating computing power and green energy, accelerating the industry’s transition toward sustainable intelligent infrastructure.

Execution through Collaboration and Precision

The successful energization was made possible through the full support of the Langfang Municipal Government and local utility authorities, as well as tight coordination with multiple engineering and power partners. BodaData adopted a rigorous full-process project management model, coordinating design, construction, commissioning, and quality control to ensure on-time delivery with high standards.

The Langfang facility is part of BodaData’s broader national strategy to build out a robust, interconnected network of AI computing centers.
